Madeline McHugh

I am from Lafayette, Louisiana and I am currently a junior at LSU majoring in chemistry with a biological concentration. At LSU, I have been working in a polymer chemistry lab and have participated in a poster presentation at the ACS Southwest Regional Conference and LSU’s Discover Day. I presented on time-lapse PVA hydrogels controlled by pH through competing enzyme reactions. After graduation, I hope to attend graduate school and pursue a PhD in chemistry.

Madeline will be working under the supervision of Dr. Garcia this summer.
